Position Responsibilities:

• Drive technical strategy for large-scale network initiatives.
• Make high-level architectural decisions, collaborate on complex, multi-team network projects.
• Define technical standards and best practices.
• Create comprehensive network architecture frameworks.
• Develop scalable and resilient network designs.
• Resolve critical, complex network issues.
• Develop innovative solutions for challenging problems.
• Guide systematic improvements across network infrastructure.
• Provide technical guidance to multiple teams.

Position Requirements:

• Masters degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Networking, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered, or a related occupation.
• Employer will accept a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Networking, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Masters degree and one year of experience.
• Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s):
  1. Major internet routing protocols specifically, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, RSVP and ISIS in a large enterprise environment.
  2. Working with major network operating systems such as Cisco IOS or Junos.
  3. Experience in large network environments.
