Job Summary

The Network Engineer 4 is a senior enterprise networking role responsible for designing, administering, securing, maintaining, and improving large-scale wired and wireless network environments. The position requires deep experience in network infrastructure, security technologies, enterprise applications, certificate services, and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

·   Install, configure, and maintain public and private enterprise wireless networks.

·   Administer web content filtering, firewall, and VPN technologies.

·   Provide technical leadership or supervision for enterprise network operations.

·   Test and implement PC/LAN technologies and computer system applications.

·   Administer enterprise networks, telecommunications, Windows Server systems, firewalls, and TCP/IP protocols, including IPv4 and IPv6.

·   Manage certificate authority systems and supporting technologies.

·   Administer network management protocols and related standard tools.

·   Support network-based applications and services such as Exchange, Oracle, DNS, DNSSEC, DHCP, and Internet domain naming and registration services.

·   Manage network security, telecommunications, and local area network operations in accordance with established security practices.

·   Evaluate network environments, identify deficiencies, and recommend performance improvements.

·   Administer, operate, maintain, and secure large-scale enterprise networks.

Requirements

·   10 years of experience in a large organization administering, operating, maintaining, and securing a large-scale computer network.

·   5 years of experience in a technical leadership or supervisory role.

·   5 years of experience testing and implementing PC/LAN technologies and computer system applications.

·   5 years of network administration experience in a large organization or corporation.

·   5 years of experience with computer network telecommunications, firewalls, Windows Server operating systems, and TCP/IP protocols (IPv4 and IPv6).

·   5 years of experience managing certificate authority systems and supporting technologies.

·   5 years of experience administering network management protocols and related standard tools.

·   5 years of experience with network-based application software and services such as Exchange, Oracle, DNS, DNSSEC, DHCP, and Internet-based domain naming services and registration processes.

·   5 years of experience managing telecommunications, local area networks, computer security issues, and established security practices.

·   5 years of experience evaluating networks, identifying deficiencies, and recommending performance improvements.

·   2 years of experience installing, configuring, and maintaining public and private enterprise wireless networks.

·   2 years of experience with web content filtering, firewalls, and VPN technologies.

·   Must hold an active technical certification, such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE).
