Job Summary:
The Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the organization's network infrastructure. This role ensures high availability, security, and optimal performance of network systems while supporting business operations and IT initiatives. The Network Engineer collaborates with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deploy network solutions and resolve technical issues.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field required
Experience: 3-10 years of experience in network engineering, administration, or related IT roles
Clearance: Top Secret with SCI eligibility
Required Skills:
Experience with network security, firewalls, and VPNs
Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent networking equipment
Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, etc.)
Proficiency in configuring and managing routers, switches, and firewalls
Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies
Understanding cybersecurity principles and network security best practices
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Skills:
Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent
Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, etc.)
Familiarity with SD-WAN and network automation tools
Knowledge of VoIP and wireless networking solutions
