Cisco Routing and Switching:
Own end‑to‑end architectures for data center and campus networks using Cisco Nexus 7K/5K/3K/9K, NX‑OS, and ACI (APIC, leaf‑spine, policy model). Design EVPN‑VXLAN fabrics (DCI, multi‑tenant segmentation, L2/L3 VNI), border/Inter‑VRF, contracts/filters, and L3Out connectivity. Produce HLD/LLD, standards, reference architectures, and design patterns for HA, scale, and security (ISSU, vPC, vPC+). Define QoS, multicast (PIM/IGMP), DCI (OTV/EVPN), BGP/OSPF/IS‑IS designs to ensure deterministic failover and ECMP. Integrate on‑prem DC with muti-site architecture and ACI Multi‑Site/Multi‑Pod designs where required. Establish ACI policy constructs: tenants, VRFs/BDs, bridge domains, EPGs, contracts, filters, static/dynamic bindings, micro‑segmentation. Follow automation-as-default principle ACI Ansible collections, Terraform, config compliance, and golden templates., and advanced load‑balancing logic. Lead deployments, migrations (traditional EVPN‑VXLAN or ACI), upgrades (NX‑OS, APIC), and brownfield integrations with rollback plans. Plan, execute and implement vPC/vPC+, HSRP/VRRP, FEX, QoS, SPAN/ERSPAN, ACLs, PBR, NetFlow/IPFIX, ISSU/ISSD. Operate and tune ACI fabrics: APIC health, fabric discovery, endpoint learning, contracts, L4-L7 service graphs, policies, RBAC. Troubleshoot complex L2/L3 issues (MAC/ARP, SVI, FHRP, ECMP), EVPN control‑plane, anycast gateway, endpoint churn/blackholing, and TCAM. Implement DCI for active/active DCs; coordinate GWs, VRFs, and route leaking; validate multisite control/data planes. Integrate with observability solutions Datadog, Splunk, Syslog/SNMP, Telemetry Grafana. Perform L3 troubleshooting tasks i.e. packet captures, control‑plane analysis, route pathology, ACI faults/events, vPC role/consistency, and change‑induced regressions. Experienced working in IT service delivery model and report/track SLAs/SLOs, manage OLAs. Run CAB‑compliant changes with SOPs, maintenance windows, and auditable CMDB updates. Lead RCA, post‑incident reviews, and improvement initiatives; maintain knowledge articles and customer‑facing documentation. Coach L1/L2 teams via runbooks, guided troubleshooting trees, and KT sessions.
Roles & Responsibilities
Cisco ACI operation and troubleshooting experience, APIC, fabric bring‑up, tenants/VRFs/BDs/EPGs, contracts & filters, service graphs, L3Out, RBAC, and Multi‑Site/Multi‑Pod. Proficient in automation and configuration management leveraging Ansible (including ACI modules/collections), Terraform. Responsible for NX‑OS, vPC/vPC+, EVPN‑VXLAN, BGP/OSPF/IS‑IS, L3 gateways, QoS, multicast, ACLs. Solid DCI patterns (EVPN DCI, OTV legacy), route leaking, interconnects with firewalls/LB/SD‑WAN, IPAM/DNS integrations. Responsible for Observability/ops tooling NDFC/DCNM, APIC health/faults, streaming telemetry, NetFlow, SNMP/syslog, and SIEM/SOAR pipelines. ITIL‑aligned Incident/Problem/Change/Config experience with SLA ownership, CAB, and high‑quality RCA delivery. Responsible for timely customer communication, documentation, and cross‑team leadership. Administer, support, and monitor multiple F5 load balancer environments. Work with application for creating new VIP, renew SSL certificate.
Salary Range-$100,000 0-$125,000 a year
