Seeking a Network Engineer (L2 Support) for onsite work in Baltimore, MD.
Must-Haves include:
- 8+ years of experience in Network Operations
- Hands-on experience with hardware, cabling (copper, fiber), patch panels, and physical connectivity
- Strong knowledge of routers, Catalyst/Nexus switches, Cisco WLC
- Experience with switching in data center environments
- Knowledge of SDWAN (Aruba Silver Peak, Meraki) and basic Zscaler understanding
- Understanding of high availability protocols (Layer 2 & 3), Cisco Meraki Wireless, SNMP, and routing protocols
Good-to-Have skills:
- Ability to work independently and in teams, with flexibility for extended hours
- Experience in incident management and prioritization
- Networking certifications such as CCNP or equivalent
- Willingness to learn new technologies and enhance skills
- Excellent communication skills
