Hansen Talent Group is hiring a Network Engineer to support a large agency in South Carolina.
This role is ideal for an experienced network engineer who enjoys working in complex enterprise environments, troubleshooting critical infrastructure issues, and supporting widescale network operations with minimal supervision.
What You’ll Do
• Manage, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure across a statewide environment
• Support and administer technologies including Cisco/Meraki, Palo Alto, Fortinet/FortiGate, Certes, Citrix NetScaler, and Trellix solutions
• Monitor network performance and ensure reliable, secure connectivity across the organization
• Perform network analysis, design, installation, configuration, and support activities
• Troubleshoot network failures, routing, switching, firewall, and VPN issues
• Maintain and update network diagrams and technical documentation
• Support cybersecurity best practices and ensure secure version compliance across network environments
• Implement upgrades, patches, and infrastructure changes as needed
• Troubleshoot and remediate issues within complex voice-integrated network environments
• Collaborate closely with technical teams and provide knowledge transfer and guidance to peers
• Support multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced operational environment
What You’ll Need
• 10+ years of experience with Cisco firewalls
• 10+ years of experience with Cisco routers
• 10+ years of experience with Cisco switches
• 10+ years of experience with Cisco VPN technologies
• 10+ years of Cisco administration experience
• 5+ years of experience with Palo Alto firewalls
• 2+ years of experience with Palo Alto XDR
• Strong troubleshooting skills across routing, switching, and network security environments
• Experience working in enterprise or statewide network infrastructures
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in dynamic environments
