Excelraise, LLC is seeking a Network Engineer – Consultant for our client in Blythewood, SC. 

• The Sr. Network Engineer will be proactive in their approach to monitor network performance, ensure efficient communication across the network, review and improve security compliance through cybersecurity best practices, and implement updates or changes to maintain optimal connectivity and secure version compliance.
• Candidate location: Candidates must be residents of SC, NC, or GA AND be willing to relocate within 40 miles of Blythewood, SC prior to their start date at their own expense.
• This position will total 37.5 Hours per Week – there is potential for being on call outside of regular business hours and on weekends on an as needed basis for outages.
• A Valid Driver’s License is REQUIRED for this position. A state vehicle will be provided for travel.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Cisco Firewalls.
• 10+ years of experience implementing and supporting Cisco Routers in enterprise environments.
• 10+ years of experience administering Cisco Switches, including Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching.
• 10+ years of experience designing, configuring, and maintaining Cisco VPN solutions.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco Network Administration, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance.
• 5+ years of experience deploying and managing Palo Alto Firewalls, including security policies and threat prevention.

Preferred Skills

• 10+ years of experience using network monitoring, logging, and tracing tools for performance monitoring and issue resolution.
• 10+ years of experience designing and supporting enterprise core network architecture.
• 10+ years of experience with advanced network troubleshooting, including routing, switching, and performance optimization.
• 4+ years of experience implementing and supporting wireless network infrastructure.
• 3+ years of experience working with hybrid cloud infrastructure and integrating on-premises networks with cloud environments.
