Our client is seeking a Network Engineer to support their enterprise networking and infrastructure team. This role provides a dynamic environment where no two days are the same, combining both operational and strategic responsibilities while maintaining regular interaction with internal stakeholders, customers, and business partners.
The Network Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, and delivering network services across a variety of platforms and technologies, including Cisco Nexus, Cisco Meraki, Arista, and F5 environments. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, possesses deep technical expertise across multiple networking disciplines, and can quickly adapt to new technologies and business requirements.
The primary goal of this position is to deliver high-quality network solutions and services while consistently meeting committed project timelines and operational objectives for the client’s enterprise environment.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, implement, and support new and existing network services for the client and its business partners.
- Improve the performance, reliability, and availability of the client's network infrastructure and services.
- Research, document, publish, maintain, and enforce network policies, standards, and procedures.
- Collaborate with management to identify process improvements, streamline operations, and reduce inefficiencies.
- Evaluate and recommend innovative solutions to address complex business and technical challenges.
- Provide mentoring, training, and technical guidance to team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network performance, connectivity, and security issues.
- Support network infrastructure projects, upgrades, migrations, and technology refresh initiatives.
- Participate in network architecture planning and strategic technology initiatives.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and operational procedures.
