FedPoint is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer, Cloud to lead critical networking initiatives and help shape a secure, high performing infrastructure across both on premises and cloud environments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments, enjoys solving challenging problems, and wants to make a direct impact on enterprise level systems. This position is going to be 51% on prem network and 49% AWS cloud networking.

As a key member of our IT Infrastructure team, you will take ownership of network architecture, performance, and security while ensuring alignment with NIST 800 53 standards. You will play a lead role in strengthening our AWS cloud networking environment and maintaining the reliability of our corporate WAN and LAN.

What You Will Do
• Lead network architecture initiatives across cloud and on premises environments
• Own and resolve network outages, including root cause analysis and long term solutions
• Design, implement, and support secure networking solutions including firewalls, segmentation, and load balancing
• Manage AWS cloud networking components and support cloud migration efforts
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Monitor network performance, develop alerting, and improve system reliability
• Partner with security teams to enforce compliance with NIST and HIPAA standards
• Lead projects from planning through execution and drive process improvements
• Collaborate with cross functional teams across infrastructure, cloud, and systems

What You Bring
• 7 or more years of experience in network engineering within a 24 by 7 environment
• Strong expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, and cloud networking
• Hands on experience with AWS and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform
• Experience with technologies such as Cisco, Palo Alto, load balancers, and web application firewalls
• Knowledge of network protocols and services including DNS, DHCP, BGP, and VPNs
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to perform deep root cause analysis
• Experience supporting compliance frameworks such as NIST
• Ability to lead initiatives, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively
