Seeking a Network Engineer for Enhanced Distance Support to provide remote tactical network assistance, troubleshooting, and problem resolution for fleet units using CANES systems across NIPR and SIPR networks. Responsibilities include authoring and reviewing documentation, coordinating with stakeholders, supporting on-deck efforts, and mentoring new technicians. The role requires a minimum of 2 years' military network experience, an active Secret clearance, and DoD IAT-II certification, with certifications like Security+ or CCNA preferred.
Ideal candidates will have strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills, with knowledge of Navy network environments. Up to 10% travel may be required. This is an onsite position supporting the Naval Information Warfare Command in Norfolk, VA.
