Job Description:
Required Skills, Education and experience:
Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. (Required)
Certifications: CCIE, CCNP, or CCNA (Required)
Skills and Experience:
• Knowledge to identify measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system.
• Knowledge of Cisco LAN and Routing equipment; Knowledge of Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server 2013 and 2018 and client software used to support a LAN/WAN environment.
• Knowledge of Mainframe Emulation Tools; Knowledge of PC based software; Strong knowledge of Local Area Networks (LAN), DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, SSL, VPN and routing protocols; Strong network troubleshooting skills.
• Strong knowledge in developing upgrade and implementation plans and working with project team members and management to implement changes.
• Ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with peers, supervisors and customers, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to follow established priorities and procedures.
• Ability to analyze information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast paced, high velocity, environment; ability to stay focused on responsibilities, meet deadlines and manage competing priorities under pressure.
• Ability to drive effective meetings: workshops, design, and problem-solving sessions.
• Ability to present ideas in business friendly and user-friendly language; demonstrate aptitude for working with, supporting and communicating with users and customers.
