Seeking a Network Engineer with expertise in Cisco Wireless LAN solutions. Must have experience implementing, troubleshooting, and managing Cisco WLC (5500 series), AP (3800, 3700, 3600), LWAPP, and CAPWAP protocols. Responsibilities include assisting with hardware/software issues, WLAN design, RF planning, site surveys, and configuring wired infrastructure such as VLANs, VTP, STP, and EtherChannel. Requires strong knowledge of routing/switching protocols, wireless security (dot1X, MAB), and network services like DNS, DHCP, NTP, SNMP. The role involves end-to-end ownership of customer requests, acting as escalation point, and collaborating with stakeholders. Candidate should have hands-on experience with RF deployment, high availability, roaming, multicast optimization, and security policies.
