We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our network and security team. This role involves supporting local area networks, metropolitan area networks, and private cloud environments. Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot physical and virtual servers.
- Ensure current patch levels are maintained on servers.
- Assist in the investigation and mitigation of security incidents.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot physical (Cisco) and distributed virtual switches (VMware).
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot routers (Cradlepoint).
- Monitor the team’s open backlog of support issues.
- Work towards departmental and project deadlines.
- Document and present recommendations for issue/risk remediation to team leads and managers.
Requirements
- VMware vSphere: Required, 2 years of experience.
- Server Administration (Windows/VMware): Required, 3 years of experience.
- Microsoft System Center Operations Manager: Desired, 2 years of experience.
- Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager: Desired, 2 years of experience.
- Nessus by Tenable: Desired, 1 year of experience.
- Cisco Networking: Desired, 2 years of experience.
- Firewall Administration: Desired, 1 year of experience.
- Linux Administration: Desired, 1 year of experience.
