MAIN FUNCTION:
The Network Engineer is responsible for providing a single point of contact and first level support for reporting & resolving problems for both Business Applications and the Network Services and maintenance of secure data and voice networks (local and wide area networks). Assist with applications, software upgrades, planning and implementation of annual projects, provides primary support for all server operations. Maintains all infrastructure documentation, maintenance records, and schedules. Provides day-to-day user and infrastructure support to maintain high availability of IT systems for continued business operations in on-premises and cloud environments.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in computer science or business-related field or equivalent experience.
3 to 5 years of network infrastructure experience, (LAN, WAN, MPLS, VOIP), Cisco, HP hardware. Highly desired with the following certifications: CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, CCNA, CCNP.
Excellent working knowledge of Windows Server, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, VMWare, Office 365. TeamViewer, Cisco Duo, SentinelOne, MFA.
Excellent knowledge of Servers and Cisco switches, routers, copper cabling, and fiber cabling. Wireless networking, knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud environment and Microsoft Power applications.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
