Network Engineer - II

Our client is seeking a Network Engineer - II in Richardson, TX to support VoIP services for public sector customers.

• This role involves activating, migrating, modifying, and troubleshooting VoIP services, managing daily service activities, and coordinating with internal and external teams.
  
• Responsibilities include verifying order details, performing pre-install testing, processing phone number ports and activations, managing service migrations and disconnects, leading customer/vendor activation calls, troubleshooting call routing issues, escalating problems, and documenting activities within workflow systems.
  
• Must have strong VoIP and telecommunications knowledge, customer service experience, and willingness to work rotating shifts. Ability to obtain a security clearance is required.
  
• Desired skills include experience with network equipment, Cisco Broadsoft/Broadworks, IP phones, analog gateways, and familiarity with network components.
  
• Educational requirements include an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree and relevant work experience; certifications like CCNA or CCNP are preferred.
