Edward Jones is seeking a skilled and motivated NetworkEngineer III to join our Technology Division. This role is focused on the design, deployment, and engineering support of our enterprise branch network infrastructure, which connects over 15,000 branch offices. The successful candidate will ensure secure, scalable, and resilient connectivity using technologies such as SD-WAN, SASE, enterprise routing / switching, and Wi-Fi.

Key Responsibilities / What You'll Do:
Provide engineering-level support for the Edward Jones branch network, focusing on SD-WAN, SASE, routing, switching, and Wi-Fi.
Maintain and optimize branch network infrastructure, including WAN circuits, LAN switching, wireless access points, and edge security.
Lead the implementation and lifecycle management of SD-WAN and SASE platforms, ensuring secure and efficient traffic routing across the enterprise.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to evaluate, test, and deploy new network technologies and solutions.
Troubleshoot complex network issues and respond to escalations from branch teams and senior leadership.
Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including topology diagrams, configuration standards, and operational procedures.
Support policy and configuration rollouts across all branch locations, ensuring consistency and compliance with enterprise standards.
Participate in network architecture planning and contribute to strategic initiatives focused on scalability, security, and performance.
Serve as a technical lead on cross-functional projects involving network infrastructure.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members and collaborate across teams to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, IT, or related field; or equivalent experience/certifications (e.g., CCNP, CWNA)
5+ years of enterprise network engineering experience, preferably in distributed environments
Expertise in SD-WAN, SASE , and Zero Trust (ZTNA) architectures
Strong knowledge of routing, switching , and LAN/WAN across Cisco/Meraki, Arista, and Juniper
Experience with enterprise Wi-Fi, wireless access points, edge security, and cloud networking ( Azure, AWS, GCP )
Proficiency with network monitoring tools ( Wireshark, NetScout, SolarWinds )
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and participate in on-call support
Preferred:
Network automation/scripting ( Python, Ansible )
Financial services or regulated environment experience
Advanced certifications ( CCNP, ACMP, NSE, PCNSA )
**Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week effective June 1, 2026
