    Job Description

    The Network Engineer designs, implements, supports, and improves the company's enterprise network infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and on-premises environments. The role provides expertise in cloud and hybrid networking, network security, switching, routing, wireless connectivity, and core network services to maintain secure, reliable, and resilient operations.

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Designs, implements, administers, and supports Microsoft Azure network services to provide secure, scalable, and reliable cloud connectivity.
    • Configures, maintains, and troubleshoots Palo Alto firewalls and related network security services to protect network traffic and maintain secure access.
    • Configures, maintains, and troubleshoots enterprise switching, routing, and wireless infrastructure to provide reliable connectivity across locations and environments.
    • Designs and maintains hybrid connectivity among Azure, on-premises locations, remote users, business partners, and third-party providers to provide secure access to business systems.
    • Implements network segmentation and security controls in partnership with Information Security to reduce risk and meet organizational and regulatory requirements.
    • Monitors network availability, capacity, performance, and security to identify issues, support timely resolution, and improve service reliability.
    • Resolves complex network incidents across cloud and on-premises environments, performs root cause analysis, and implements corrective actions to restore service and prevent recurrence.
    • Administers enterprise DNS, DHCP, IP address management, internet connectivity, and remote-access services to maintain dependable network operations.
    • Plans and executes network upgrades, patches, replacements, and configuration changes using established change-management practices to maintain secure and supportable infrastructure.
    • Develops and maintains network automation and Infrastructure as Code solutions to improve consistency, repeatability, and operational efficiency.
    • Maintains network diagrams, inventories, standards, configurations, operating procedures, and disaster recovery documentation to support effective operations and recovery readiness.
    • Develops and tests network redundancy, failover, backup, and disaster recovery capabilities to improve resilience and service continuity.
    • Evaluates network architecture, emerging technologies, and vendor solutions to recommend improvements in security, reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
