Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Hybrid (1 day onsite per week Wednesdays)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $110,000-$110,000 base salary depending on experience

This role is ideal for a hands-on network professional with strong experience in enterprise networking, security infrastructure, cloud connectivity, and modern network technologies.
The Senior Network Engineer will play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving network platforms across corporate, cloud, and hybrid environments while collaborating with cross-functional technology teams.

The Senior Network Engineer will play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving network platforms across corporate, cloud, and hybrid environments while collaborating with cross-functional technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, configure, and support enterprise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and cloud environments
- Manage and troubleshoot routing, switching, firewall, and network security technologies
- Support Cisco and Fortinet network platforms, including FortiGate firewall administration
- Assist with SD-WAN deployments, configuration, and ongoing operational support
- Support Microsoft Azure networking environments, including virtual networks, hybrid connectivity, and cloud integrations
- Participate in network design discussions and technology evaluations to improve performance, reliability, and scalability
- Perform network troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution
- Maintain network documentation, diagrams, configurations, and standard operating procedures
- Support network monitoring and management tools
- Follow structured change management processes for production network changes
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering or enterprise infrastructure support
- Strong experience with routing and switching technologies
- Experience managing Fortinet FortiGate firewalls, including policies, VPNs, and administration
- Experience with Cisco networking technologies
- Knowledge of SD-WAN concepts and implementations
- Experience with Microsoft Azure networking, including virtual networks and hybrid connectivity
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and enterprise networking concepts
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders
- Experience in professional services, financial services, legal, or other enterprise environments
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet certifications, Microsoft AZ-700, or equivalent
- Experience with ITIL-based change management processes
- Ability to work independently while partnering effectively with infrastructure and security teams
