IDR is seeking a Network Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Memphis, TN. This hybrid role offers the chance to work with a renowned organization focused on maintaining and optimizing complex enterprise networks. The position involves ensuring the stability and integrity of data, voice, video, and wireless network services across the organization.
Position Overview for the Network Engineer:
- Responsible for implementing, maintaining, and supporting local and wide area networks (LANs and WANs), including wireless networks.
- Collaborates with technical teams and department leaders to assess and address network capacity needs.
- Develops and maintains documentation related to network configuration, mapping, processes, and service records.
- Implements policies and procedures for network administration, usage, and disaster recovery.
- Monitors network performance, troubleshoots issues, and resolves hardware and software problems efficiently.
Requirements for the Network Engineer:
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering
- Strong expertise in Cisco routing and switching
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama
- Proficiency in F5 load balancing (LTM, GTM) and iRules
- Experience with network automation tools (NetBrain, Ansible) and scripting (Python, YAML)
