Job Description
Our Client, an IT Services and Consultant company, is looking for a Network Engineer (NOC L1/L1.5) for their Durham, NC location.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues related to routing protocols and switch configurations.
- Optimize routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.
- Implement and maintain VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, and other Layer 2 technologies.
- Ensure network security by applying best practices and performing regular audits.
- Maintain documentation including network diagrams, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects and upgrades.
- Provide technical support and resolve network-related incidents.
- Plan and execute firmware upgrades and patch management.
