Network Engineer (NOC L1/L1.5)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Network Engineer (NOC L1/L1.5) with approximately 4 years of experience in network operations, troubleshooting, routing, switching, and Kubernetes environments. The ideal candidate will monitor network performance, troubleshoot incidents, maintain network infrastructure, and support upgrades and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues related to routing protocols and switch configurations.

• Configure, maintain, and optimize routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.

• Implement and maintain VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, and other Layer 2 technologies.

• Apply network security best practices and support regular security audits.

• Maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects and upgrades.

• Provide technical support and resolve network-related incidents.

• Plan and execute firmware upgrades and patch management.

• Support day-to-day NOC operations and network monitoring activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• Approximately 4 years of network engineering/NOC experience.

• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals.

• Hands-on experience with routing and switching.

• Experience with OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP.

• Strong understanding of VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, and Layer 2 technologies.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes.

• Experience troubleshooting network incidents and performance issues.

• Understanding of network security best practices.

• Strong documentation and communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional infrastructure and technical teams.
