Title: Network Engineer

Location: Redmond, Washington

Duration: 6 months + possible extensions 

Compensation: 65-75hr 

Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

Skillset / Experience: 

Network Engineer: 

We are seeking a hands-on Network Engineer to support customer terminal and lab networking environments. The role will reduce the time software engineers spend on network setup and debugging by owning network troubleshooting, maintenance, diagnostics, and related automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network environments supporting customer terminal development and testing.

• Diagnose connectivity, routing, DNS, DHCP, configuration, and network performance issues.

• Support engineers in isolating network issues from software, hardware, or cloud-related failures.

• Maintain lab networking environments and improve repeatability of network setup and validation.

• Build scripts or tools that automate network configuration, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.

• Document common configurations, issues, and troubleshooting procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, and network troubleshooting.

• CCNA certification or equivalent practical networking experience.

• Experience with Linux networking and command-line diagnostic tools.

• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Python or other scripting experience.

• AWS or cloud networking experience.

• Experience supporting lab, hardware, device, or distributed-system environments.
