Network Engineer

Location: Texas

Position Overview

We are seeking a Network Engineer to support the design, implementation, integration, and maintenance of secure, reliable, and scalable network infrastructure. This individual will work closely with customers, project stakeholders, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-performing network solutions that meet business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Configure, integrate, and manage routers, switches, and firewalls to support secure and scalable network operations
Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution of incidents and performance concerns
Monitor, analyze, and optimize network performance across enterprise environments
Design and implement scalable, secure network architectures for high-availability systems
Collaborate with customers, project managers, engineering teams, and external stakeholders to ensure successful project execution
Review technical requirements and translate them into network designs and implementation plans
Support systems integration efforts and interface management activities
Maintain network documentation, standards, and operational procedures

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
Experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure
Strong understanding of network architecture, optimization, and security best practices
Experience working with commercial networking technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, or similar platforms
Familiarity with network troubleshooting methodologies and performance analysis
Experience supporting systems integration and interface management initiatives
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced technical environment
Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications
CCNA, CCNP, or other relevant networking certifications
Experience supporting high-availability and mission-critical network environments
Exposure to enterprise security technologies and network monitoring tools
Knowledge of routing, switching, firewall management, and network segmentation
