Job Description:

Our client is looking for a talented and driven Network Engineer to design, implement, and support our expanding network infrastructure. As part of a dynamic team, you'll help maintain a high-availability environment, resolve performance issues, and uphold network security across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Cisco switches to support network operations.
• Serve as a Tier 2 escalation point for end-user network issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Monitor and troubleshoot wired and wireless network performance and reliability.
• Evaluate existing network infrastructure and recommend enhancements to optimize performance and security.
• Maintain accurate and current network documentation, including diagrams and configurations.
• Assist in developing and implementing enterprise-wide network standards, policies, and procedures.
• Deliver expert-level network solutions aligned with business goals, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with the Network Manager, System Administrators, and Service Desk to align technical efforts with organizational needs.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• Preferred certifications include CCNA, CCNP, or similar credentials.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience managing medium to large-scale enterprise networks.
• Proven experience configuring Cisco routers and switches.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewall configuration and policy management.
• Experience deploying and managing Aruba wireless networks.
• Proficient in network troubleshooting, analysis, and documentation.
• Familiarity with network tools such as Wireshark for diagnostics and monitoring.
• Working knowledge of Aruba ClearPass and AWS cloud networking.
• Experience with Okta MFA authentication solutions.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Skilled in diagnosing and resolving wired and wireless network issues.
• Self-motivated with a problem-solving mindset and ability to develop creative solutions.
