Location: Los Angeles, CA
Schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST
Work Arrangement: Onsite for the first 2 weeks, then onsite 1 week per month
Employment Type: 6-Month W2 Contract
Pay Rate: $100–$108/hour

Position Overview

A leading Southern California energy and utility organization is seeking an experienced Network Engineer IV with a strong background in SAP Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and SAP Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC).

This role will focus on SAP security controls, user access management, audit and compliance activities, and risk mitigation across enterprise SAP environments. The ideal candidate will have experience configuring SAP security, supporting technology audits, addressing audit findings, and establishing secure access and development standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform technology and SAP audit testing in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Document and submit audit findings and assist with remediation efforts.
• Implement and maintain SAP user access controls to reduce security and compliance risks.
• Configure SAP security settings and access permissions across enterprise environments.
• Support Identity and Access Management processes for users, applications, and devices.
• Assist with SAP Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) activities and controls.
• Identify security risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Develop processes, documentation, and reusable templates for SAP implementations and development.
• Help standardize security and development practices across SAP systems and application teams.
• Evaluate new SAP technologies and solutions for potential security, access, and compliance risks.
• Coordinate system, platform, and network enhancements while ensuring adherence to corporate security standards and user access policies.
• Partner with application, security, audit, and technology teams to maintain secure and compliant SAP environments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 8+ years of relevant technology, SAP security, IAM, audit/compliance, or related experience.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Security and security configuration within SAP environments.
• Experience with SAP XSA.
• Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM), including user credentials, application access, and enterprise access controls.
• Experience with technology audit, compliance, and remediation of audit findings.
• Strong understanding of SAP Governance, Risk and Compliance (SAP GRC).
• Experience implementing and maintaining user access controls.
• Ability to assess new technologies and identify potential security and compliance risks.
