Role description

Title: Network Engineer

Location: Irving, Tx (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)

Excellent knowledge and hands on experience for the below technologies

* Cisco Routers: 1900,2800,3800,3900 & ASR, ISR 4000, 8300, 8200 and ISR 1000

* Cisco Switches: 3750X,3560X,2960,4500,4900,6500, 9600, 9500 , Nexus

* Load Balancers: Cisco ACE/F5 * Switching: Vlan, STP, Stack Switches.

* Routing protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VRRP, HSRP/static routing.

Others: Multicast, Tunnels, IPV6 &IPV4 Security: Basic and Advance level firewall configurations, VPN configurations.

  • Need Candidate with minimum 8+ years of experience who has experience in design and deploy LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including routers, load balancers, switches, WAN Accelerators, and other hardware related to customer networks.
  • Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment including cisco routers & Switches, proxy servers, cisco switches, WAN accelerators, load balancers, DNS and DHCP
  • Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation.
  • Configuring, routing, and switching to maximise network efficiency and security • Maximising network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting to resolve issues & Liaise with ISP and other IT teams for problem resolution during implementation.
  • Updating network equipment to the latest firmware releases. • Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure • Reporting network status to key stakeholders.
  • IP address auditing and assignments to devices.
  • Defines, documents, and enforces system standards.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in professional organizations.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks
  • plan, procure, install, operate, administer, maintain, and manage the Cabling for customer through 3rd party cable service provider.
  • ability to work independently without supervision & candidate should have Excellent planning and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent communications skills in English (written, oral and listening) and effective time management and organizational skills.
