Seeking a Network Engineer (Telco Engineer) to work onsite in Melbourne, FL, with compensation for non-local candidates for long-term assignments.
Supports design, implementation, and optimization of telco networks for FTI services, collaborating with teams and working independently on projects.
Responsibilities include evaluating telco designs, planning modern telco solutions, implementing customer-focused solutions, resolving technical challenges, maintaining documentation, identifying automation opportunities, and managing design workflows.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, 4+ years of WAN telecom experience or 8+ years with an associate degree, strong project management, technical knowledge of carrier services, Cisco routers, IP technologies, and network infrastructures. Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance is required.
Preferred experience in designing and implementing Ethernet, TDM, SONET, LTE, and familiarity with various network vendors and system processes.
