Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a Network Engineer for a Contract with a client in Wilton, CT. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in SD-WAN architecture and network infrastructure to implement, troubleshoot, and optimize high-performance enterprise networks while ensuring seamless service delivery.
Rate Range: $45/Hour to $49/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Network Engineer Job Responsibilities include:
Design, deploy, and troubleshoot Cisco Viptela SD-WAN solutions across enterprise environments.
Create network design documentation including BOM, HLD, LLD, and deployment guides.
Lead end-to-end network implementation for greenfield and brownfield projects.
Configure and manage LAN, WLAN, firewalls, and IPAM/DNS/DHCP systems (Infoblox).
Collaborate with stakeholders, operations teams, and project managers to ensure seamless delivery.
Monitor network performance, resolve incidents, and maintain high availability of network infrastructure.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
8-10 years of experience in network engineering with a focus on SD-WAN and enterprise networking.
Strong expertise in Cisco Viptela SD-WAN, network design (HLD/LLD), and end-to-end implementation.
Hands-on experience with LAN/WLAN, firewalls, Infoblox, and ability to troubleshoot and manage network infrastructure in production environments.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
