Job Description
This role is 5 days per week onsite in Warren, MI, with deployment driven by site prioritization and demand.
Responsibilities:
- Wireless infrastructure remediation, refresh, and post-refresh validation.
- Access point configuration, upgrades, and performance/coverage troubleshooting.
- Site readiness support and documentation of all configuration changes. Qualifications:
- 3+ years of enterprise wireless networking experience.
- Hands-on expertise in AP configuration, deployment, and remediation.
- Strong knowledge of IEEE 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax) and RF troubleshooting.
- CCIE Wireless required; CCNP Enterprise Wireless or Aruba ACWA/ACCP also accepted.
- Experience with site survey methodology and wireless validation testing.
- Must be available 5 days per week onsite in Warren, MI for the contract duration. Tools and Technologies:
- Wireless platforms: Cisco Catalyst Center (DNA Center), Cisco WLC, Aruba Central/AOS.
- Access points: Cisco Catalyst/Aironet, Aruba (HPE), Juniper Mist.
- Survey/analysis: Ekahau Site Survey, NetAlly AirCheck G3.
- NMS and ITSM: SolarWinds, PRTG, ServiceNow.
