Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Network Engineering Manager:

  • Oversee daily operations and support of network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and remediation efforts to maintain network reliability.
  • Support and drive network architecture, design, and implementation projects.
  • Manage hybrid connectivity, integrating on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Lead and mentor a small team of engineers, coordinating network-focused initiatives and modernization efforts.

Required Skills for Network Engineering Manager:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies and Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Strong understanding of LAN/WAN, routing (including BGP), VPNs, and enterprise networking.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments, with a preference for Azure; AWS or GCP experience is also valuable.
  • Proven ability to lead small teams and mentor engineers, with a focus on network projects.
  • Capability to operate in both implementation and design capacities.
