Presidio is seeking a dedicated technical resource to support a large-scale hardware lifecycle upgrade initiative across multiple campus locations in the Pittsburgh area. This role will work closely with the campus network team to assist with all phases of deployment and installation activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Unbox and inventory network hardware
- Stage and configure equipment
- Perform hardware testing and code/image loading
- Assist with device installation and deployment
- Conduct post-installation validation and checkout activities
- Coordinate with campus network staff during implementation windows
- Independently complete preparation and staging tasks during daylight hours
- Support after-hours installation and cutover activities
Requirements
- Experience with hardware deployments, network infrastructure, or field technician work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working after-hours maintenance windows
- Strong organizational and troubleshooting skills
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally within approximately 50 miles of Pittsburgh
Preferred Experience
- Enterprise or healthcare IT environment experience
- Network switch/router deployment support
- Familiarity with staging/configuration processes
- Experience supporting lifecycle refresh projects
