Purpose

This role installs and maintains operating systems, applications, servers, virtualization, network devices and backup systems to ensure stable performance.

Key Missions

Responds to the day-to-day business needs according with priorities Troubleshoots problem source through discussions with users and coordinates with internal organization support and operations groups and with vendors to resolve problems Stays up-to-date on information technology and aligns it with IDEMIA and Divisions technology strategy Acquires, installs and upgrades IT components, licensing and software, and manages inventory Ensures to follow governance model and processes (change management, root cause analysis, documentation, etc.) Creates and maintains documentation related to their activities Ensures and supports Division standards about safety and security as well as industry and legal regulations Plans service availibity according to business requirements (this may include defining redundancy, backup implementation, having on-call duty)Executes simple day to day administration and networking tasks, may support on complex tasks Performs patching and ensures the documentation is up to date Works with the guidance of a more experience team member
