Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Network Infrastructure Engineer for a Contract with a client in Louisville, KY. The ideal candidate will help design, automate, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and developer platforms that improve productivity across the enterprise.

Rate Range: $60/Hour to $70/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Network Infrastructure Engineer Responsibilities include:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and reusable platform services that support developer productivity and self-service capabilities.

• Collaborate with architects, software engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing platform solutions.

• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD automation to streamline infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.

• Evaluate and integrate cloud technologies, containerization platforms, and enterprise tools to create standardized solutions for application teams.

• Monitor platform performance, implement security best practices, and ensure compliance with disaster recovery, access management, and data protection requirements.

• Support continuous platform improvement by gathering feedback, optimizing system reliability, and enhancing scalability, monitoring, and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 6+ years of IT experience, including 4+ years of software development or platform engineering experience.

• Strong hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and automation using Python or Java.

• Experience implementing security best practices, network engineering, monitoring, disaster recovery, and scalable cloud-based solutions in enterprise environments.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $70.00 per hour
