Akkodis is seeking a Network Infrastructure Engineer for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI. The ideal candidate with experience supporting and maintaining enterprise network operations, ensuring the reliability, performance, and availability of global network infrastructure across data centers, cloud environments, and enterprise locations.
Rate Range: $50/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Network Infrastructure Engineer Job Responsibilities include:
Monitor, maintain, and support global network infrastructure operations, ensuring high availability and performance across data centers, manufacturing plants, offices, and cloud environments.
Manage and coordinate incidents, problems, and change management activities within a Network Operations Center (NOC) environment.
Troubleshoot complex network issues involving Cisco routing, switching, voice, and data networking technologies to minimize service disruptions.
Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, and engineering teams to support network upgrades, maintenance activities, and operational improvements.
Analyze network performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to improve reliability, stability, and operational efficiency.
Provide technical support, status reporting, and stakeholder communication while ensuring adherence to operational processes, service levels, and network management best practices.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.
5+ years of experience in Network Operations, Infrastructure Support, Change Management, and Incident Management within a NOC environment.
Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco networking technologies, including routing, switching, network troubleshooting, and enterprise infrastructure operations.
Proven experience supporting large-scale global network environments, with strong knowledge of infrastructure architecture, incident response, change management, and cross-functional technical collaboration.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $60.00 per hour
