This position functions as a Network Operations Center (NOC) operator, providing 24/7 monitoring and operational response for enterprise systems, job scheduling platforms, and data center infrastructure. This role ensures the continuity of mission-critical production workloads by overseeing automated schedules, managing job exceptions (job aborts, restarts, force completions, and/or cancellations), and maintaining rigorous job documentation.
As a key member of the integrated monitoring team, this position interfaces with campus constituents and technical staff to monitor, troubleshoot, and report on the health of the Data Center and the Enterprise Network.
