Network Operations Center Technician

Job Summary

The Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician is responsible for monitoring, supporting, and maintaining enterprise IT infrastructure, including network, server, and telecommunications environments. This role focuses on identifying and escalating incidents, maintaining system reliability, and supporting continuous improvement of IT operations.

What Youll Do

• Proactively monitor network, server, and telecommunications infrastructure

• Identify, document, and escalate alerts, incidents, and issues requiring urgent action

• Monitor and review data backups to ensure system availability and reliability

• Create, update, and distribute operational and performance reports

• Maintain and contribute to an internal IT knowledge base

• Verify compliance with established IT guidelines, processes, and policies

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair infrastructure hardware and software

• Assist with patch management and system updates

• Install and configure computer hardware and related components

• Identify, recommend, and implement operational and process improvements

What You Need to Have

• Associates degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems, or equivalent related experience with a focus on systems infrastructure

• 3+ years of experience supporting IT infrastructure, including server administration, support, and implementation

• 3+ years of experience with virtualization, security, networking, databases, and storage technologies

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
