Description
Network Performance Engineer needs 4 years of progressively responsible RF engineering experience, at least 2 of which directly involved network performance, optimization, and troubleshooting as primary job responsibilities
Network Performance Engineer requires:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and more than 6 years of relevant experience required, or 10 years of relevant work experience required.
Knowledge of IP theory, planning, configuration, integration, testing, and security preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of radio access network, with ability to manage radio network functions and associated parameters, key performance indicators, and counters.
Approximately 80% travel may be required to support the positions responsibilities.
While performing the role you may need to lift up to 25 lbs.
Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and
effectively.
Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.
Able to cultivate a collaborative a team dynamic that enables the Company to meet its business objectives.
Strong organizational skills; ability to both practice effective prioritization of duties and function in a fast-paced
environment.
Network Performance Engineer duties:
Perform system verification testing, integration, commissioning, and optimization; obtain customer acceptance and on-boarding.
Analyze and summarize test data to evaluate performance against key performance indicators (KPIs). Optimize networks to meet contracted KPIs. Analyze KPI trends and optimization needs for customers to enhance customer satisfaction.
Conduct comprehensive audits of networks to ensure data accuracy, adherence to established standards, and compliance.
Prepare comprehensive reports and initiate projects to maintain sites in compliance with standard of care guidelines.
Evaluate and plan for capital improvements over the life cycle of the networks to effectively utilize capital improvement budgets.
