This on-site Melbourne, FL role supports the FAA/FTI program as a Service Activation Engineer.
Responsibilities include supervising FTI equipment installation and activation, performing acceptance testing, and coordinating network maintenance events.
The engineer will manage communication circuits, troubleshoot IP networks, and collaborate with internal teams and service providers.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's in a technical field with 4+ years of experience or 2+ years postgraduate with 8+ years of relevant work.
Skills required encompass network configuration, protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS), troubleshooting, technical documentation, and project management.
The role may involve flexible scheduling, including rotations to evening or night shifts, and requires the ability to obtain security clearance.
