Role Descriptions: Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have 1) Understanding of Network Routing & Switching Topology 2) Experience in Design & Implementation of Data Center Networks involving Cisco ACI, VXLAN & Advanced Switching technologies 3) Experience in Design & Implementation of Large SDWAN Networks involving MPLS, EGP (BGP) and IGP (OSPF, EIGRP) protocols. 4) Experience in Design & Implementation of Firewall, VPN, SASE Technologies. 5) Experience in DNAC Design, Build & Migration (LAN Network - A thorough understanding of the OSI network model, Ethernet, and TCP/IP networking 6) Ability to perform network related tasks, including configuration of Cisco ISR/ASR routers, switches 7) Experience in deploying, managing, and tuning Wi-Fi networks in a corporate and manufacturing environment 8) Capable of Reviewing and validating BOM High Level Design, Low Level design and Acceptance test planning for various Networks 9) Leadership in handling technical issues. 10) Understanding of Network Automation and scripting including python, Ansible 11) Design, implement, maintain, and support Network Operational monitoring\alerting platform(s) including Business driven dashboards, metrics, and KPI reporting to facilitate clear communication of network related performance across the enterprise 12) Contribute to system / functional architecture analysis, solution identification and implementation 13) Engage in solutions research and deployment, systems standards, internet services, capacity planning, disaster Recovery, platform upgrades\modernization, and process improvement. 14) Work with required areas and support staff to facilitate appropriate logistical planning, communication and execution of network related initiatives

SN Role descriptions / Expectations from the Role

1 As a Consultant, should have in-depth knowledge in Network technological or industry practice / functional area and overview of 2-3 other areas.

2 Provide inputs, recommendations for network design, planning, defining strategic roadmap, defining network policies.

3 An individual contributor in a consulting & Professional services team, who is focused on driving complete network assignments.

4 Expert in Cisco Routing and Switching, LAN, Wireless LAN, WAN, DC Network

5 Provide recommendations/inputs for network service improvement, documentation, support network audits, provide inputs during service review meetings with third party vendors, WAN service providers.

6 Ability to provide detailed network drawings and diagrams and relation as-built documentation.
