JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced NetworkSolutions Architect to support enterprise network infrastructure initiatives. In this role, you will work across multiple IT projects, partnering with business and technical teams to design scalable, secure, and sustainable network solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards and business objectives.
You will play a key role in developing future-state network architectures, driving technology modernization, and ensuring best practices are followed throughout the project lifecycle—from planning and design through implementation.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Participate in multiple enterprise IT projects as a member of the Solution Architecture team.
• Design and develop enterprise network solutions that align with business and technology strategies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable network architectures.
• Develop network topologies, Bills of Materials (BOM), Statements of Work (SOW), and technical design documentation.
• Review and provide architectural feedback during all project design phases (15%, 30%, 60%, 90%, and 100% milestones).
• Create Wi-Fi and cellular heatmaps for site deployments.
• Present technical solutions to architecture review boards and internal engineering teams.
• Ensure network designs follow enterprise standards, best practices, and long-term strategic goals.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing infrastructure.
• Act as a technical advisor and change agent, driving continuous improvement and modernization initiatives.

 
Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• 5–10 years of experience in enterprise IT environments.
• 5–10 years of hands-on experience in network operations and enterprise network architecture.
• Strong experience with enterprise routing and switching.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise network solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively at both strategic and tactical levels.

 
Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Enterprise Architecture (EA) frameworks.
• Knowledge of architectural modeling and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Experience designing network solutions for large-scale enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking technologies, including switches, wireless access points (WAPs), and related infrastructure.
• Proven experience delivering technology solutions that solve business challenges.
• Experience implementing SOA in enterprise environments.
• Transportation industry experience is a plus.
