Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Network Professional to install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, experience with network hardware, cabling, and software configuration, and the ability to identify and resolve connectivity and performance issues. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining network security and ensuring reliable, efficient network operations. CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent networking certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, including routers, switches, access points, and related equipment.
  • Install, terminate, and troubleshoot network cables and physical connectivity.
  • Configure and maintain network software, protocols, and connectivity settings.
  • Monitor network performance and identify bottlenecks, connectivity issues, and potential failures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network, hardware, and connectivity problems in a timely manner.
  • Perform diagnostic testing to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain reliable and efficient network operations and minimize service interruptions.
  • Implement and maintain network security measures to protect systems and data.
  • Perform routine network maintenance, upgrades, and configuration changes as needed.
  • Document network configurations, troubleshooting activities, and maintenance performed.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining computer networks.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, VPNs, and network connectivity.
  • Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and network cabling.
  • Strong diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve network issues.
  • Experience troubleshooting network performance, connectivity, hardware, and configuration problems.
  • Knowledge of network security best practices and maintaining secure network environments.
  • Ability to identify network bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve performance and reliability.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent networking certification preferred.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with IT and technical teams.
