    Job Summary: The Network Systems Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting Mead Lumber’s network and server infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security across the enterprise. This position oversees the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and ongoing support of network systems, servers, and related technology while assisting with system upgrades, security measures, and technical issue resolution. 

    This position is fully in-office and is not eligible for remote work.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Install, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, servers, network infrastructure, firewalls, storage, surveillance, and phone systems.
    • Support physical and virtual server environments including OS installs, patching, backups, security updates, and vulnerability management.
    • Manage Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, SQL, Exchange, Microsoft 365, SSL certificates, and Group Policy.
    • Assist with maintaining network security and PCI compliance across all locations.
    • Support enterprise storage and backup environments, including capacity planning and system performance.
    • Respond to escalated technical support requests and assist with troubleshooting complex system and network issues.
    • Coordinate with vendors and assist with assigned IT projects, timelines, and implementations.
    • Travel periodically to branch locations for network, server, and end-user equipment maintenance and upgrades.
    Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications:
    • Install, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, servers, firewalls, storage, surveillance, and phone systems.
    • Support physical and virtual server environments including system installs, patching, backups, security updates, and vulnerability management.
    • Manage Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, SQL, Exchange, Microsoft 365, SSL certificates, and Group Policy.
    • Assist with network security, PCI compliance, storage and backup environments, and overall system performance.
    • Respond to escalated technical support issues and troubleshoot complex network and system problems.
    • Coordinate with vendors and assist with IT projects, implementations, and technology upgrades.
    • Travel periodically to branch locations for network, server, and equipment maintenance and support.
    • Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field preferred.
    • Five or more years of related experience preferred.
    • MCSE, Network+, Security+, or similar certifications preferred.
    • Previous experience with Epicor BisTrack preferred but not required.
