Network / System Engineer II

Introduction

We are seeking a skilled engineer to support complex, large-scale initiatives within a financial services environment. This role requires strong expertise in network engineering, application infrastructure, and security.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong expertise in load balancing technologies, with hands-on experience supporting F5 Networks and Client AVI environments
• Solid foundation in network engineering, architecture, and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Java, and JavaScript
• Experience developing high-level designs for load balancing infrastructure and related changes
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with network automation, scripting, and programming in enterprise environments
• Strong documentation skills, including end-to-end load balancing design and architecture artifacts
• Experience collaborating with external vendors to resolve chronic issues, defects, and enhancement requests

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support load-balancing solutions
• Partner closely with application teams, network and security engineers, lines of business, and external vendors
• Provide Level 3 production support for complex operational issues and contribute to technical problem resolution
