How You'll Contribute

  • Assist with the design, installation and deployment of Nokia MPLS services across LCRA's growing WAN network.
  • Configure and deploy VPLS/VPRN/EVPN and other MPLS services.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose connectivity within a LAN/WAN environment.
  • Monitor the Transport Network systems using Nokia NSP, VMWARE and SolarWinds.
  • Maintain a strong cybersecurity posture.
  • Build overall team value through leading and mentorship.

How You're Qualified

  • Nine or more years of experience in designing and/or operating networks or relevant experience.
  • A degree(s) in information technology, computer science or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.

How You'll Stand Out

  • Valid Nokia MPLS Certifications: NRS1/NRS2.
  • Valid enterprise routing and switching Certifications: Cisco CCNA/CCNP, JNCIA/JNCIS.
  • Proven experience with Nokia MPLS technology including deployment of L2 VPLS/ L3 VPRN/EVPN.
  • Proven experience with L2 and L3 protocols across multiple vendors: STP/OSPF/IS-IS/BPG.
