Description:
Pre-Screening Questions
•             Describe your experience working with fiber optic transport at the enterprise level. What types of fiber planning, analysis, or deployment projects have you been responsible for?
•             What fiber optic equipment or network components have you worked with in previous roles? Please provide examples and detail your familiarity with their operation, documentation, or optimization.
•             Share your experience using CAD, Visio, or GIS-based planning software. What types of fiber projects have you contributed to, and what were your specific responsibilities?
•             Tell us about a time when you created or updated engineering drawings or technical documentation for fiber optic systems. What challenges did you encounter, and how did you address them?
•             Explain your approach to interpreting and revising redlined fiber network drawings. How do you ensure accuracy and consistency in your revisions?
•             Describe your experience with document management systems such as SharePoint for managing fiber asset records or project documentation. How have you used these tools in your previous roles?
•             How do you manage multiple fiber network documentation tasks or projects simultaneously? Share an example that demonstrates your organizational and prioritization skills.
•             Tell us about a time you collaborated with engineers or technical teams to ensure the accuracy of fiber network documentation. What was your role, and how did you contribute to the successful outcome?
•             Describe your preferred work environment. Are you more productive working independently, as part of a fiber planning team, or a mix of both?

Desired Qualifications:

10 + Years Responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, support and technical consultation for the communication network of the organization, as well as for the development of technical standards and interface applications. Includes expertise in 1or more of the following: voice and data networks or wireless services and network security disciplines to include firewalls, centralized management schemes such as system updates, patch distributions, log analysis and report generation, VPN (Virtual Private Networks) and IPS (Intrusion Prevention Systems).
