Network / Systems Engineer
Position Summary
The Network / Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting client and internal network and server infrastructures. This role provides advanced technical expertise across networking, virtualization, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and Microsoft technologies. The Network / Systems Engineer serves as a Tier 3 escalation resource, leads infrastructure projects, and helps ensure reliable, secure, and scalable technology environments that enable business success.
The ideal candidate combines strong networking expertise with systems administration experience and is comfortable working directly with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver exceptional technical outcomes. This position is expected to perform both remote and onsite support as needed.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent experience may be substituted.
4+ years of experience supporting enterprise network and systems environments.
Advanced knowledge of:
TCP/IP networking
Routing and switching
Firewalls and VPN technologies
DNS and DHCP
Active Directory and Group Policy
Windows Server administration
Microsoft 365 administration
Virtualization technologies (VMware and/or Hyper-V)
Experience with Azure and cloud-based infrastructure solutions.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
