Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Network / Systems Engineer IV responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and support of enterprise communication networks.
This senior-level role provides technical consultation, develops infrastructure standards, and ensures secure, scalable, and highly available network environments. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in voice/data networks, wireless services, and network security technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Network Architecture & Design
Design and implement enterprise communication networks.
Develop technical standards for network infrastructure.
Architect scalable voice, data, and wireless network solutions.
Provide technical consultation for complex infrastructure initiatives.
Configuration & Implementation
Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and security appliances.
Implement VPN solutions and secure remote connectivity.
Deploy intrusion prevention and network monitoring systems.
Support interface applications and network integrations.
Security & Compliance
Manage network security disciplines including:
Firewalls
VPN (Virtual Private Networks)
IPS (Intrusion Prevention Systems)
Oversee centralized management systems for:
Patch distribution
System updates
Log analysis
Security reporting
Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory security standards.
Operations & Support
Provide advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Support enterprise network availability and performance.
Monitor and optimize network traffic and security posture.
Participate in change management and system upgrades.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in network and systems engineering.
Proven experience in enterprise network design and implementation.
Strong knowledge in one or more of the following:
Voice networks
Data networks
Wireless services
Network security
Experience with:
Firewalls
VPN technologies
Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS)
Log management and centralized update systems
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and provide technical leadership.
