Network & Telephony Support - Retail (Remote - USA)
We are seeking a Network & Telephony Support for our global retail client. In this role, you will support and implement network and telephony hardware/software deployments for North America based stores remotely while managing onsite technicians. You will coordinate store networking and telephony activities, support vendor management, and maintain reporting and project tracking activities.
This is a 40-hour per week, 6-month contract (possible extension), a 100% remote role. The working hours will be from 5 AM to 2 PM PST.
This is a W2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and a 401K are offered.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the point of contact (POC) for North American Network/Telephony Store activities including construction, deployment, and break-fix support.
Proactively coordinate with construction resources for implementation of store networking and telephony.
Configure network and telephony hardware across US and Canada markets.
Order network and telephony circuits to meet deadlines and coordinate implementations.
Research, diagnose, resolve, or escalate technical and procedural networking issues.
Address service level escalations and escalate unresolved issues per guidelines.
Utilize available resources for prompt issue resolution.
Develop relationships with key business partners across IT and non-IT departments.
Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks to meet deadlines.
Support shipping and receiving warehouse activities related to vendors.
Establish and maintain communication with multiple vendors.
Engage in network escalations and troubleshooting with vendors.
Update and maintain inventory and reporting management tools including Excel, PowerBI, and Smartsheet.
Requirements:
Experience with Smartsheet, Service Now, and Microsoft Office applications.
At least 4 years of previous IT experience preferred.
At least 2 years of networking experience including Routers, Switches, LAN/WAN, IP, and Zoom Telephony systems preferred.
Previous project management or coordination experience preferred.
Retail or field support experience preferred.
BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
