Network Tools Platform Engineer

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Network Tools Platform Engineer is responsible for designing, deploying, maintaining, and optimizing the platforms used to monitor and manage enterprise network infrastructure. This role supports operations by integrating network telemetry, observability, and automation solutions to ensure a reliable and scalable environment.

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, implement, and maintain network monitoring and management tools platforms.
• Administer tools such as SolarWinds, Splunk, Nagios, and LiveNX.
• Develop custom integrations, dashboards, and APIs between network tools and IT systems.
• Build automation workflows for network provisioning and configuration using Ansible and Python.
• Manage data ingestion pipelines for logs, SNMP traps, syslogs, and streaming telemetry.
• Collaborate with network operations and security teams to define monitoring and alerting standards.
