Neuro Cardiac Unit MS/Tele RN - Travel Registered Nurse - $2130 per week.

Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• 3 months of travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Indiana license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >40 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• Two years of strong cardiac/tele experience
• Recent EPIC experience required (will be required to do a checkoff class)
• Skillset: Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation (TRAVELERS REQUIRED TO PASS TELE TESTS), recover heart caths (femoral/TR bands), PIV insertion, chest tube/indwelling drain management, drip management (cardiac-Cardizem, amio, etc., other-heparin, lasix, protonix, etc.). CBI, detox/CIWA protocol experience, central line care.
• Teaching hospital, may require precepting of students & new-hires

Required Credentials: Associate Degree or Certificate

Shift & Scheduling: Three weekends out of every six week schedule. Every other holiday.

Floating Requirements: First to float within skillset. Deaconess Midtown (IN) campus (8 miles apart) & potential to float to Deaconess Henderson (KY – 11 miles). 2 HR notice given for cross campus float. Mid-shift float within same campus. Cross campus mid-shift float is unlikely but possible.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months
